In Texas, GreenHunter Energy has commenced operations at its 105 Mgy biodiesel plant, which the company said was the nation’s largest. The company’s operations on the Houston Ship Channel include terminal operations and generators that will produce all the electricity needed for the project as well as providing power back to the grid. The company said that it will utilize tallow and jatropha among other feedstocks.
