Biofuels Digest Index drops 0.85 percent to 120.72 on agribusiness dip

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.85 percent yesterday to close at 120.72 on an agribusiness slide. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.96 percent to close at $43.28, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) fell back 6.33 percent to $5.18 on profit taking after advances on sharply improved quarterly earnings.  Among small caps, Xethanol (XNL) gained 7.14 percent to $0.60.  Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
