Biofuels Digest Index sheds 0.28 percent to 119.31 on agribusiness slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.28 percent to 119.31 on a slide in agribusiness offset by a small ethanol rally. For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) fell 3.59 percent to close at $41.57, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) gained 4.41 percent to close at $4.26 and lead a positive day for ethanol.
Among small caps, GeoBioEnergy (GBOE) fell 22.50 percent to $0.124. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 3 for the day.
