Enterprise Rent-a-Car and VeraSun expand E85 partnership

In South Dakota, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and VeraSun Energy announced that their partnership in flex-fuel cars would be expanded from Washington and Cincinnati to Sioux Falls, SD. Enterprise and its sister companies, including Alamo and National, rent 73,000 flexible fuel cars and trucks.

Kroger (KR), VeraSun Energy (VSE). and Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced last year a program to increase the availability of VeraSun-branded VE85 ethanol. Kroger will sell VeraSun-branded VE85 at pumps in 20 Kroger locations in Ohio and Kentucky.

Enterprise Rent-A-car said it would designate its locations in Troy, Cincinnati and Grove City as “VE85/FlexFuel branches,” making available E85-fueled vehicles available for rental. Enterprise said that it is the US leadre in flex-=fuel rental car availability, with more than 41,000 flex-fuel vehicles in its fleet.
