Rising soybean prices force closure of two biodiesel plants, threaten emerging Texas biodiesel industry

Rising soybean prices have shuttered two biodiesel plants and are threatening to close down the emerging Texas biodiesel industry.

Soybean prices have increased more than 50% although indications are that soybean pkanting will increase in the US substantially in 2008.
