CME Group announced trading of ethanol futures options as a tool to manage risk in ethanol pricing. The options will be traded on e-cbot by October 5, and on CME Globex by January. CME will also offering clearinghouse services for options trading. Ethanol futures have been trading on the CME platform since March 2005.
