UseCorn.com brings virtual stock trading to biofuels

An interesting and fun way to track stocks and follow the evolving ethanol story is to sign up for free, virtual stock trading with UseCorn.com. Users can establish and maintain multiple portfolios, using $10,000 in virtual currency. Virtual trades are charged $7 in virtual dollars per trade to simulate real-life day-trading conditions.

Users choose from 44 real-life ethanol-related stocks. We established a portfolio based on 9 of the Biofuels Digest Indexâ„¢ basket of stocks that were available through UseCorn.com and we will report back to you from time to time on its performance.

The site is user-friendly, attractively designed, and although it only features corn ethanol-related stocks, it’s a fun tool, especially for aficionados of Second Life and other virtual online worlds.
