USDA funds feasibility study for NY biodiesel plant

The United States Department of Agriculture has awarded $67,509 for equipment and a feasibility study for a proposed soy-based biodiesel plant in Greenport, NY.

U.S. Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-Greenport, was on hand to announce the grant. The facility will be operated by Hudson Valley Agribusiness Development.
