McDonald’s will convert its 155-truck UK fleet to B100 biodiesel. 85% of the biodiesel is produced from cooking oil collected from 900 McDonald’s in the UK. The company tested B5 for a year before moving to B100. McDonalds is also testing the use of biodiesel in the US and Malta. Total carbon savings from the program is estimated at the equivaent of removing 2,400 cars from the road.
