Louisville Biodiesel Coop, LJCMSD, Green Triangle form waste oil biodiesel pact

November 30, 2011 |

In Kentucky, the Louisville Biodiesel Cooperative, the Louisville/Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) and The Green Triangle in the 9th District have created a partnership to recycle waste cooking oil. Louisville Biodiesel has already collected over a ton of WCO for the local production and distribution of high grade biodiesel to benefit school children and small family farmers in Louisville and Kentucky. Louisville Biodiesel is using the waste cooking oil to blend with its own waste oil collections to provide a low-cost alternative to petroleum diesel.
