FIRST PRIZE: Nathan VanVelzen pumping waste vegetable oil from a local restaurant for AES’s biofuelproject.com. The WVO to be used for AES’s BioGen systems which earlier this year generated over 130,000 kilowatt hours on demand for less than $50,000.
