Thailand to export ethanol to China

In Thailand, an affiliate of Bangchak Petroleum has signed an agreement to supply 100 million liters of ethanol annually to China. The production will come from the affiliate’s new Ubon Bio Ethanol Co. cassava-based plant that will produce 400,000 liters of ethanol per day. Shipments will begin in October next year. The technology used in the facility China’s state-owned Guangdong Zhongke Tianyuan New Energy Science and Technology.
