WSU researcher lands $330K DARPA grant for ethanol, jet fuel project

In Washington state, Washington State University researcher Bin Yang has won a $300,000 grant from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to fund research into the co-production of ethanol and jet fuel from biomass sources. The grant is part of the agency’s Young Faculty Award which was given to 39 researchers across the country.
