August 24, 2011 |

In Utah, a new 6.7-liter F250 Power Stroke V8 turbo-diesel broke the land speed record for biodiesel at Bonneville Speed Week in the salt flats near Salt Lake City when it drove 182mph, running on soy-based B20. The previous record had been  130.614mph.

The truck’s owner, Hajek Motorsports, runs a soybean and corn farm in Oklahoma and runs six F250s on biodiesel on the farm.
