Laurels: INEOS is the 43rd ranked company in the 2010-11 50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy poll. Dynamic Fuels currently holds down #44.

The match-up: Dynamic Fuels has launched its 75 Mgy renewable diesel plant in Geismar, Louisiana, using animal residues as a feedstock. INEOS Bio is on the verge of commissioning (next year) its 8 Mgy cellulosic fuels and chemicals plant in Vero Beach, FL, using municipal and agricultural wastes as a feedstock. Two companies that are engaged in the “making it, now” business as opposed to the “promise for later” business.
