OriginOil inks World Water Works as distributor for algal dewatering

In California, OriginOil reports first distribution deal with World Water Works, who has agreed in principle to distribute OriginOil’s dewatering and extraction systems to its global customer base. The agreement covers product integration, manufacturing and joint marketing.

Scott Fraser, OriginOil’s VP/Operations noted that World Water Works’ world-class manufacturing facility is key to his company’s expansion plans as it responds to high customer demand worldwide.  He further reported that OriginOil’s field tests at MBD Energy’s research facility in Australia, that World Water’s algae-specific DAF was successful in concentrating algae after passing through OriginOil’s dewatering system.

The Algae Harvesting Technology Optimized system, from World Water Works, is a patent-pending version of the company’s wastewater industry high rate Dissolved Air Flotation process, specifically tailored to Algae Harvesting.
